‘Copying Carmelo’ 24 Hour Repair Performance

In 2022, I encountered Carmelo Richie, a Maltese car mechanic, on the streets of Malta. He was seated in his open workshop, facing the street, working on cars, making repairs and sorting screws. I decided to mimic his actions by repairing objects that people brought in during a 24-hour performance. Lasting from 1pm the 21st of June until 1pm the 22nd of June.
